Beautiful 1BR/1BA Condo | Pool | Beach Access!

Great spot for a few days at the beach on a budget! I would book this unit again based on the proximity to the beach (just steps away) and the price. Pros: The host provided great communication. This is my second stay at this complex and it’s an older building, so if you’re looking for luxury or a new build this wouldn’t be the spot for you. However, if you’re looking to spend your days ON the beach with clean place to sleep it’s a good one! The gated beach access is wonderful because there aren’t any hi-rise buildings. This makes the beach here far less crowded than other areas in Destin! The laundry areas were clean, machines worked well, and there are several close by which is convenient.Cons: The unit needed more light bulbs in the bedroom, the popcorn ceiling looked sad in areas, there were some dark spots on the baseboards in the corners (maybe mold, maybe just needed to be scrubbed), the living room rug was dingy, and the handle on microwave was a little broken. Nothing was a big deal breaker though.

Beautiful area & nice condo. It was advertised to come with beach chairs, umbrella, & toys, to which it did not include. I let the manager know, & they thought they were shared with other properties & tried to locate them, then the following day apologized for the inaccuracy but those items weren't included, but I was not offered anything in return. I have all those items at home, & we had to repurchase them since the ad was incorrect. The pictures on the living room wall were crooked when we arrived, stains on the curtains that go out back, the bathroom sink & shower take forever to drain, & the door handle can slide up clear sideways coming into the place, but locks just fine. A crew was spraying a chemical around the doors one evening, & the next day we found a very large cockroach on the kitchen floor.We didn't spend much time in the room, & even with the flaws, was nice to be so close to the ocean in a safe area. Just being honest, this unit was not as nice as a couple others we have stayed in at Gulfview, those units included the beach equipment, & this not as nice place was more expensive.

Just what we was looking far

There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The condo is very clean and beautifully decorated. Will definitely rent again.
